We ran it on ourselves first
Before asking any owner to pay, Dr. Rob ran the whole process on his own business: drrobmortgage.com, a mortgage loan originator in Katy, Texas. Same scan, same fixes, same logged-out AI test you get. Here is what moved, what didn't, and the dates we check again. We publish the results either way.
Two kinds of numbers, on purpose
The first two measure whether AI can read the site. We control those. The rest measure whether AI actually names the business. Nobody controls those, so we just report them.
Scan it yourself and you may see a slightly different number. We added a Google Business Profile check to the scan after this test, and that check will count once his profile is live. When we compare before and after for a client, we use the same version of the scan both times.
Two days of work, on a site that already looked fine
Said who, what, and where
The home page headline said "Know where you stand." Nice, but it never said who he was, where he worked, or who he helped. Now the first line under every heading does, on 14 pages. Katy was on zero pages before; now it's on all of them.
Wrote the facts in code
Business markup listed his area as "Texas" and him as an "employee." Now it names Houston, Katy, and Fort Bend, his license number, credentials, and eight services.
Answered real questions
The FAQ was about the website's own tool. Now it answers what borrowers ask: self-employed income, a 600 score, down payment help, and the service area.
Built the pages AI looked for
A bank statement loans page and a first-time buyer page, built around the exact questions ChatGPT told buyers to ask.
Added proof AI can check
A "by the numbers" strip with facts anyone can verify, and a link to his public license record. No loan counts, because we only publish real numbers.
Said who he is
"Black mortgage loan originator" on the pages where it's true and he chose to say it, plus a page for Katy. Everyone who qualifies is welcome, and the page says so.
What the businesses AI named had in common
A Google profile with reviews
Every business named on a local question had a Google profile with a local address and reviews. That's why the Fix Plan includes a Review Sprint kit.
The exact words in a page title
Pages titled with the exact thing people asked for got cited. "Services" doesn't get quoted. "Bank Statement Loans in Katy" does.
The need and the place in one sentence
"Helps self-employed buyers in Katy" beats a page that mentions self-employed buyers in one spot and Katy in another.
They said it themselves
On "Black-owned" questions, AI only named businesses that said so on their own site or in a directory. Most never write it down.
The dates are set. So is the promise to post them.
- The two "Black-owned" questions, logged out, with screenshots
- All ten questions, the scan, and the 9-point review
- Posted here, good or bad
- The full test again, after the Google profile and reviews have had time to count
This page is our own business, so we can share it. We never publish a client's name or results without their written permission.
